Verbdate is a dating service that uses free voip to allow you to talk to your date anonymously before meeting them. Of course, it wouldn’t be that hard to tell a potential date your skype profile without verbdate.

Voip and dating: a good reunion?
All those currently maintain long distance relationships know what a blessing voip is. Not only does it cut down on costly calls, but with a webcam and Skype, you can hear and see your better half. With a site like Verbdate taking advantage of Skype, it allows you to get to know your potential date a bit more personally before meeting them blindly. Though Voip isn’t the ultimate way to choose your next partner, it does give you a bit more security and it will allow you to see if you ‘click’ before meeting them.

Is Verbdate a good choice?
This definitely is the next step toward Web 2.0. Not only does Verbdate make use of Skype, but it also does a great job integrating facebook, and even flickr all into one efficient dating service. Creepy enough is the Google Maps feature to see where they live, but don’t worry it only gives a full city overview.
