Winamp 5.5, Winamp New Version

It looks as though Winamp has introduced another update to their already great mp3 player. This version "the anniversary edition" doesn't seem to offer any new serious updates, but it does finally support mp3 album art, something my current version, 5.21, doesn't have.
Why is Winamp so great?
Who knows why we even use winamp, I mean there are plenty of Mp3 players out there, many which don't make much a difference in playing mp3s. Perhaps it's all the easy enhancements like skin changes or could it be it's square design? In any case, my electronic music is always being played on Winamp, Microsoft's Media player just doesn't cut it....
