Homegrown music?
You know how people go on American Idol looking to be "big stars"? Well I suppose that a service like Soundclick is a place to turn for those who didn't make it. They might have sounded bad on American Idol, but actually I was amazed by some of the unknown artists placing their music on Soundclick. Take this artist, auditory, rap isn't exactly my favorite music, but they do a pretty good job creating their own beats.

QTrax: Free Legal Mp3 Downloads

What does qTrax offer?
Free Legal Mp3 Downloads of course. But seriously, qTrax tells use ,"Qtrax is NOT just another P2P network, yet everything is legal. My question is of course is, if this is another p2p service, how will users be able to share files, yet keep everything legal? They are claiming that the advertising used in this service helps pay for the cost of each one of the downloads we make on the site. That and perhaps the lack of newly released music makes qTrax a very viable option for downloading music.

The "Free Full Mp3 Album Download" Site I Use
Lately, I've been using full-albums.net when I really need an album. I can't promise this site is in anyway legit, only that I have gotten an album or two off this site with very little effort. Take Marsmobil - Minx, an album I recently downloaded off the site. I had been unable to locate it anywhere else, so I took the chance and got my "Free Full Mp3 Album Download" from full-albums.net.

Ever growing mp3 collection
Just how large is my mp3 collection? I downloaded over 120 gbs of music, much of it legal. I use services like spacelab to find music that makes my friends go, huh who was that? It's perfect if you own a cafe or a nightclub.

Like most music sites, you will have to navigate through the various ads. Though, most of us can distinguish between what is an ad and what isn't.
Overwhelmed?
If you are new to the world of Indian music, you might find yourself overwhelmed and uncertain what Indian music to download. I'd recommend look at the newest songs and working from there, otherwise, just dive in and see what pleases you!

Just Classical Music?
I made the mistake of searching for Radiohead at first. Of course Radiohead never composed classical music. It can be much easier browser by letter rather than searching for a certain artist.

100% legal mp3s, What is the Catch?

Don't pay for illegal file downloaders
You might have seen services out there claiming 100% legal service. Just a $25 sign up fee and you are ready to go. Don't pay it! All these 100% "legal" mp3 services is do is take money out of your bank account and give you programs that otherwise would have been free. What they aren't telling you is, these programs are illegal. Record companies do not get any money from your subscription, probably just some guy in Romania who is making a living off your mistake.

Some Songs, Downloading Free Legal Mp3s Online

Is interesting better?
Some would say that the interesting range of free music out there is better than the music being promoted by rich record labels. Aren't artists just a little more creative when they have to fend for their own with no one supporting them? Most of the artists on SomeSongs will probably be your first and maybe last listen but, consider that the artists here are just trying to make good beats. Some of the free legal mp3s will even be infinately better than anything you'll here on a Record Label supported album.

"Promonet was designed to help you quickly find pre-cleared MP3s for use in your blog, podcast or music website. Anytime you see the orange icon next to a track you'll know that the track is a PromoTrack™. You can download the full-length 192Kbps MP3 for use in your podcast, and using our Code Generator you can post a link to the MP3 on your blog or website. Discoworkout writes a little caption to the songs. At the end of each post he gives you two options, play and preview or download. Fortunately you don't have to pay any membership fixes to get access to the music. Just download what you like. I've already been building a few mix cds from this website alone. Try Tracey Thorn - King Cross Remix. Superb song.

With iRate, we download the open source software and are presented with a large list of songs. Naturally it is our task to rate all the music. Be patient at first. You will be presented with music you don't like. This is where iRate's rating system comes into play. After you start rating music, iRate will have a better idea what you like and don't like. After rating dozens of songs, iRate should start choosing music more to your tastes.

Free Downloads?
Mp3.com keeps a list of the top 10 free mp3 songs for download. Unlike their free play albums, the free mp3s are all artists that few have heard of. What can we expect for free? The music industry has suffered enough, it seems to get something free, they are either going to downgrade the quality, to get us to buy the album in full cd quality or give us a few sample tracks to keep us interested. However, instead of "stealing" music, shouldn't we be supporting the artists?

Is it good or just d1rt?
One thing you should know is, when it comes to electronic music, France knows it's stuff. It seems like d1rt could of come up with a better website design. Currently the site is just a list of free break beat albums. Just pictures of the albums and links. Thats it. No information or news. Maybe this is a good thing? Rather than reading through pages of information you just get direct links to Free Break Beat Music.

Get 2 Free British Invasion Cds

Bass Beer from the UK wants us to hear a little more of British Rock while drinking their beer so they are giving 2 cds with each signup, one for you, and one for your friend.
When signing up for the cds, I noticed that Bass seems to be affliated with Becks beer. When you go to sign up, leave your mouse pointer over the tab that says "Get Your Free CD". A small text message will appear that says "Enter Becks Beer" though this website clearly is for Bass. Strange, but interesting. Anyway, the CDs are supposed to be the best of Rock from UK, does that mean the Iggy Pop generation or the Kaiser Chiefs? I guess we won't find out until we get the samples.Ok,
So where do I get the Free British Invasion CDs?
Just visit this link. Simple? Ok you must be 21, but if you aren't ask your mommy to sign up.
